The congregation at Competa dates back to a Service of Lessons and Carols at Christmas 1999. In early 2000 it began to meet once a month and soon services were being held every week.
Services are now held in La Iglesia Nuestra Sra. de la Asuncion - Competa's Parish Church - at 5.30 pm each Sunday. The church, pictured here, is situated in the Plaza Almijara, a short walk from the main community car park.
Holy Communion is celebrated on most Sundays; otherwise the service is Evening Prayer.
